Overview of the front of the building, plus close-ups of any wind or hail damage. Include downspouts, metal window trim, gutters, and siding. These verify collateral damage for the claim, even if you are not repairing them.

On the Roof

Several overview photos that capture the entire roof surface. Identify the existing roof surface.
Close-up damage from wind or hail. It is accepted practice to mark a 10x10 test square on a sprayed foam roof, circle every hail hit inside it, count them, and write the total in bright chalk. That total represents the number of hits across the entire roof surface.
Photos of the height of any parapet walls surrounding the roof.
Photos of all metals and accessories on the roof, with close-ups of wind or hail damage to each item. Include the rooftop AC condensers, showing the roofing material applied under or around the units.
