Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on how MAX4 works, what it costs, and how we get commercial storm damage claims paid in full.

What does MAX4 Claims Specialists do?

MAX4 Claims Specialists is a commercial storm damage insurance claims authority. We help commercial roofing contractors and building owners document, defend, and maximize storm damage insurance claims through forensic roof inspections, Xactimate estimating, and expert carrier negotiation.

How much does MAX4 charge?

MAX4 is paid on the new money it recovers, so there is no large upfront cost. The entry-level Digital option is 10% of the increase to final approval, and the full A-to-Z service is custom to the loss. Both tiers are detailed on our Pricing page.

Does MAX4 handle residential claims?

No. MAX4 focuses exclusively on commercial storm damage claims and does not handle residential supplements.

Who does MAX4 work for?

MAX4 works on behalf of commercial roofing contractors and building owners, never the insurance carrier. When we work with a contractor, we operate behind the contractor's brand as part of their team.

What is a forensic roof inspection?

A forensic roof inspection is an onsite, evidence-based investigation that uses thermal imaging, moisture detection, and core sampling, backed by location-specific hail and wind data, to document storm damage that standard inspections and carrier adjusters often miss.

What is a roofing supplement and an Xactimate estimate?

A supplement is additional, documented scope added to an insurance claim after the carrier's initial estimate. MAX4 writes carrier-compliant Xactimate estimates that capture the full, defensible cost of the storm-related damage so nothing legitimate is left out of the settlement.

Why was my commercial claim underpaid?

Most commercial claims are not denied; they are underpaid because the damage was never fully documented, properly scoped, or effectively defended. MAX4 closes that gap with forensic evidence and direct carrier negotiation.

Do I need to sign a Letter of Intent?

Yes. The Letter of Intent is the agreement that formally brings the contractor onto the claim and authorizes work to begin once the insurance company approves the funds. You can build and download a commercial Letter of Intent from our Resources.

What areas does MAX4 serve?

MAX4 serves commercial contractors and building owners nationwide across the United States.

How do I get started?

Schedule a call or send your claim details and MAX4 will review where your claim stands. On active claims, MAX4 typically returns a carrier-compliant supplement within 24 to 48 hours.
